A MESSAGE TO THE OVERCOMER
“To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne,
even as I also overcame, and am sat down with my Father in His throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” Revelation 3:21-22
The purpose of this segment of the e-mail ministry is to help those that will, to grow. We grow and mature by being exposed to things that are beyond our normal scope. As saints of God, we can only grow up by learning more and more about Him. Often times we are not exposed to teaching outside of our normal church experience, not to belittle anyone. No one person has all the knowledge of the Word.
I endeavor to expose you to teaching and commentary on a wide variety of topics. It is not for you to just read and agree with or not agree with, but it will be for you to print out and study. Read the scripture references and see how it applies to the subject matter. Do word study if needed so that you can understand the original text. Pray about what you read and study. The Holy Spirit, after all, is the real teacher. We need to be open to new ideas and allow the Holy Spirit to teach us (1 Corinthians 2:12-13) in the areas that we find difficult to understand and/or receive.
